Aðventa á Fjöllum - ljósmyndabókSalka has published a book of photography called Advent in the Highlands by Sigurjón Pétursson and Þóra Hrönn Njálsdóttir. The book is part of a project inspired by the classical novella Advent (The Good Shepherd) by Gunnar Gunnarsson. The couple spent days and night in the highlands of Myvatn taking pictures of the winter landscape where Benedikt the shepherd struggled against the weather. The photographs were exhibited in November and December 2011 at Skriduklaustur but another exhibition opened at the National Museum in Reykjavik the 21st April.  The book is published in Icelandic, English and German. More information at Salka website where you can order the book.
